Boaz “Bo” Bivens, the Detroit native brings over 25 years of college coaching experience. A graduate of Grambling State University where he graduated with honors and was a 3 year Letterman and captain on Men’s Basketball Team. Coach Bivens earned his Bachelor's and Master's Degree in the field of Criminal Justice and earned the distinction of being named the highest graduate in the Criminal Justice department. Currently he is pursuing his Doctorate in Educational Leadership at CAU.
As a coach he has been a part of numerous achievements, such as being the first program to go undefeated in the SWAC Conference regular season and the 1st SWAC TEAM to earn an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament while at Grambling State. He also recruited and developed several players that went on to play professionally. Coach Bivens has been instrumental to the success of programs at University of Detroit-Mercy, Wayne State University and Western Michigan University. He also had the honor of working with the Los Angeles Lakers Summer Camps for several years.
As a Head Coach, he won an EYBL National Championship (Boo Williams Invitational) with Michigan Crossover and numerous tournament championships. His head coaching experience extends to various colleges such as Clark Atlanta University, Paul Quin College, Texas College and associate Head Coach at Jarvis Christian College, not to mention numerous high schools. In addition, Coach Bivens, the Director of Basketball Operations for HBCU ALL-STARS LLC and National Scout.
He is the founder and Executive Director of Glass Ceilings LLC, which includes Health Education, iBridge Builder Program, Greek Fashions for Diabetes, and Uplift Mentoring Program. Author of a book entitled “Choices & Consequences”.
Coach Bivens is a proud father of four (Ebony, Isaiah, Essence, and Boaz) and a member/adviser of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Incorporated.
Terrell Polk joined the Morehouse Basketball coaching staff in 2023. He serves as the Maroon Tigers Assistant Coach and Recruiter at Morehouse.
Prior to joining the Morehouse staff, Polk was at Wayne Community College in Detroit, MI where he was the assistant coach for two years. Before joining the WCCCD coaching staff, Polk was also at Macomb Community College for a year (2020-21) and Oakland Community College from (2012-2018).
A fixture on the national recruiting scene, Polk has been an assistant coordinator for JUCO All-American Showcase since 2012 and is a mainstay at top recruiting events across the country. Polk was an assistant coach at Oakland Community College where he helped lead the Raiders to a 2013-14 MCCAA Eastern Conference Championship. Polk also was in New York where he led (NYIA) New York International Academy a Prep school in Binghamton, New York to a 26-8 record and three summer league championship (2019-2020).
Polk is a native of Pontiac, Michigan. He received an Associate in Liberal Arts from Oakland Community College.
